On July 1st, 2008 the LEXPARK Office officially opened to the public. Located at 114 North Upper Street in Downtown Lexington the LEXPARK office has been established as a part of the LEXPARK program which manages Lexington’s on-street and off-street parking programs. The program oversees 5 of the City owned garages and the over 1100 parking meters as well as residential permit parking zones in and around the Downtown and UK areas. Republic Parking will be commencing operations on July 1st, 2008. Republic Parking is a national firm based in Chattanooga, TN and has been doing business since 1966. In Lexington, Republic Parking also manages the parking operation at the Bluegrass International Airport and provides a shuttle service for the University of Kentucky. |
